A petition against the use of mandatory masks for EC1 & EC2 students at SIS

We are very uncomfortable with the mandate that children in EC1 and EC2 must wear a mask when arriving and leaving school and within communal areas.

For the sake of the on going mental state of the youngest children at our school, we would like this to be reconsidered. We sincerely believe that as a community, we owe it to our youngest children to protect them, not just from the perceived threat of Covid but from ongoing emotional effects that wearing a mask could cause.

The emotional cost our children will pay will hugely outweigh any small benefit derived from this initiative.
